Privacy Policy

Effective August 1, 2026

Rollcall is designed as a local class attendance application. This policy explains what information the app handles and when information may leave your device.

Information stored by the app

Rollcall stores the information you enter, including class names, student names and identifiers, private notes, attendance sessions, attendance statuses, language preferences, and review-prompt preferences. This information is stored locally on your device.

No account or cloud sync

Rollcall does not require an account and does not provide cloud synchronization. The app does not upload class rosters, attendance history, or private notes to IAM_DEV.

Files you import and export

When you import a CSV or Excel roster, Rollcall reads the selected file to create or update the class roster. When you export a session, Rollcall creates the requested CSV, Excel, or PDF file and saves it only where you choose. You control whether exported files are later shared with others.

Voice name reading

The optional name-reading feature uses speech voices available through your device. Rollcall does not operate a separate online speech service. The behavior of a system-provided voice may also be subject to your operating system provider’s policies.

Support communications

If you email support@iamdev.me, we receive the email address, message, and attachments you choose to send. We use that information only to respond to your request and maintain support records.

Microsoft Store

Installing, updating, or rating Rollcall through Microsoft Store is handled by Microsoft under its own privacy terms. Rollcall does not receive your Microsoft account credentials.

Data control and deletion

You can remove students, archive classes, or delete the application’s local data through your operating system. Removing a student from an active roster preserves existing attendance history so completed class records remain accurate. Before deleting local application data, export any records you need to retain.

Children and student information

Rollcall is a record-keeping tool for educators. The person or organization using the app is responsible for having an appropriate basis to enter and manage student information and for following applicable school policies and laws.

Changes

We may update this policy when Rollcall’s behavior or legal obligations change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
